Cheap Hi Corbett Field Hotels


Hi Corbett Field has drawn baseball enthusiasts since it was built in 1937. The field was originally known as the Randolph Municipal Baseball Park in Tucson, Arizona. Hi Corbett was renamed after an Arizona state senator, Hiram Stevens Corbett who was actively involved in bringing spring training to Tucson. Specifically, Bill Veeck brought the Cleveland Indians to Tucson in 1947.

The field is a part of the larger city park complex, Gene C. Reid Park, which also houses the Reid Park Zoo and Randolph Park in midtown Tucson. Hi Corbett Field has the capacity to seat approximately 9,500 people, including box seats, reserved seats and bleacher seats. The popular venue was showcased in the 1989 movie Major League, and hall of famers Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays and Ted Williams played on the field.
